The Member of Parliament for Cape Coast North Constituency Barbara Asher Ayisi who doubled as the Deputy Minister for Works and Housing laments lack of culture of maintenance in the country is causing Ghana’s infrastructure development projects. According to her, Ghana’s spends huge fund to provide infrastructure for various institutions to fail to maintain them. She is urging the people of Koforidua Effutu in her constituency to uphold high the maintenance of the facility that has been handed over to them by Maranatha Power Ministries International. Barbara Asher Ayisi said, failure to maintain the facility will discourage the church from doing other projects in the community. The Deputy Minister for Works and Housing cited several government bungalows being in deplorable states to support her call on the people to maintain the facility.
