The Chaplain in-charge of Ankaful Maximum Security Prison, Rev DSP Adobawago is appealing to government, organizations, corporate Ghana to come to their aid with essential hospital drugs and equipment to cater for the health needs of the inmates. Hr said their infirmary has bee upgraded to health centre but lacks basic drugs and equipment. Rev DSP Adobawago is appealing to Ghanaians to remember that the prison is a potential home for everyone hence the need to contribute to make it a bit better. He is calling on especially churches to remember inmates as we prepare towards the Christmas season.
The Chairman for Elmina Local Council of Churches, Pastures William Thomas Essilfie is appealing to the public not to forget the inmates health as some are serving life and sentences there. He had called on the churches to do well to support the prisons as they have done.
