The headmistress for University Practiced Senior High School, Mrs. Paulina Yankah is challenging parents whose wards gain admission to the school but could not secure a boarding facility and have gone out to the media to accused her of charging them ghc 700 for a hostel fee to produce receipt to prove their accusations. According to her she has never collected a pesewa from any parent as a hostel fee and she is therefore challenging those parents and those respective media houses who carried the publications to publish the receipts issued out by the school to those parents. Mrs. Paulina Yankah said, she is even surprised to hear this and also to read on various social media platforms whiles none of those media houses has visited to crosscheck their facts.
Mrs. Paulina Yankah used the occasion to appeal to the media to always seek clarification on issues that may come before they do their publications. She spoke to ghanabanews.com amidst tears as the publications has tarnished her hard won reputation. She has received several calls from several quarters as to what exactly happening in the school.
Mrs. Paulina Yankah said parents should rest assured that the school will continue to give off her best to the students entrusted to their care. According to her the school is amongst one of the best performing schools in the Cape Coast Metropolis and in the country.
